The Cambridge Elementary School adopted March 2009 as "Main Street Month".  The classrooms are participating in a membership drive to see which class can bring in the most memberships.  The winning class will receive an Ice Cream Sundae Party and a $50.00 gift card to be used for the classroom.

They also hosted a "Hat Day" on Friday, March 13th with all proceeds going to Cambridge Main Street.  The kids each paid $1 to become a Student Member to the Main Street Program and then were able to wear a hat for the day!

Cambridge Main Street is Proud to join with the Cambridge Elementary School in this project.  The goal of the program is to get children more involved in their communities, to teach them community pride, to teach them about volunteerism, and to how them that together WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
