Main Street Golf Outing - Another New Event this year!!! Cambridge and Orion Main Street's are Tee-ming togther this year to host a 4 person scramble golf outing at Valley View Country Club on Saurday, June 5th, 2010. Registration begins at 7am with tee time at 8am.
Garden Walk and Container Contest- the 2010 Garden Walk and Container Contest will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from Noon - 3:00 pm. There are 5 homes and the Container Contest on the tour. Community Hog Roast - A new event this year!!! A Community Hog Roast held at College Square Park on Saturday, July 10th, 2010. We will start at 4:00 pm with a Pork Barb-Q Dinner, with events in between and end it with a Movie in the Park at dark thirty sponsored by the Village of Cambridge and C-SAC.
Annual Main Street Fest & Car Show- The Fest/Auto Show is planned for Saturday, August 21, 2010. Please plan to join us this August for the Cambridge Main Street Fest. This day will be filled with events for everyone!!!
BOO-tiful Saturday- Boo-tiful Saturday will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Community Hall from 10:00 to Noon this year. Instead of trick or treating to area businesses we will have games, music, a cupcake walk, costume contest, coloring contest and a pumpking carving/decorting contest and our very own laboratory! Children 4th grade and under are invited to come in costume to come and enjoy a "Spook"-tacular good time! Prizes will be given for the contest winners, and cupcakes will be given away during the cupcake walk, however the games are just for fun - instead of game prizes each child will receive a treat bag filled with treats before they leave the party.
4th Annual DS Holiday Shopping Event will be held in November 6, 2010 at the Cambridge Community Hall. Are you in Direct Sales? reserve your table today for $15 and up. Looking for Holiday Sales? Join us for a shopping experience with area Home Party Plan representatives. Candles, jewelry, makeup, food, baskets, home decor and more will be on display. Many booths will offer cash and carry prices and huge discounts.
Christmas on the Square- Is scheduled for Sunday, December 5, 2010 in downtown Cambridge. The Cambridge Main Street will host activities throughout the day the Cambridge Community Hall. We will begin the afternoon with the Festival of Trees and finish the evening with a Chili Supper and auctioning off of the entered Trees. 11th Annual Main Street Auction - the for the 2010 auction will be announced later in the year. Cambridge Main Street is now accepting donations of new/used items. No clothing please. We would also like to have all donations collected by January 5th so that we may complete preparation for the auction. The auction will be held at Stenzel's Auction Hall in Cambridge and bidding will begin at noon.
Remember: All donations are a tax write off as CMS is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization. All donors will recieve a letter, for their tax purposes, indicating their donation.
