Garden Walk and Container Contest

This year there are 6 Gardens and the Container Contest on the tour. A luncheon special will be available at The County Seat restaurant on Prospect Street. All tour participants may register for a door prize at the Main Street office.

The Container Contest will be held at the Cambridge Main Street office at 132 W. Center Street in the Village Meeting location - watch for signs.
The Container Contest was chosen by popular choice through a "Coins of Pride" vote. Funds raised from the contest will be used to support the Cambridge Main Street's organization's projects.
Rules for the Containers:
There will be 2 categories; one for business and organizations and one for individuals. Your container garden should include at least three varieties of plants. There is no specific size of container but the planted container must be manageable. You may enter as many containers as you wish. Any type of container is acceptable, be imaginative.
St. John Vianney Catholic Church won 1st place in the Business/Organization Category and $25.00 cash prize.
Bess Anderson won 1st Place in the Individual Category and received a $25.00 cash prize. The 2nd Place winner was Betty Goff. Both donated their winnings back to the program.
